WHY I LIVE HERE: PART 2
Minneapolis Institute of Arts - Minneapolis, MN
Today at the MIA they had an event called "Rock the Cradle." It was
filled with awesome stuff for kids to do and see. They could dance at
a disco, watch live bands and performers, make art, play an instrument
at the musical petting zoo. It was all free (the MIA is always free)
and sponsored by 89.3 The Current, a public supported radio station
that plays "alternative" music. (While I don't like everything they
play, you gotta love the whole idea.) All of this surrounded by a
world class art museum. No, it does not suck to live here. Not one bit.
