DO YOUR TAXES AND DIAL-A-SNACK

Don't judge a book by it's cover. That's the cliché. But when a cliché fits perfectly, then you're obliged to use it.

I wanted to try a new tax person and, after much fretting and many recommendations, ended up going to Mohs. (Pronounced "Moe's", which makes it all the better.) This place is like walking into a scene from a Coen bother's movie.

Essentially Mohs Tax Service is a bunch of desks scattered throughout someone's grandma's house. People of all ages and income levels are sitting at the desks getting their taxes done. There's a Dial-A-Snack machine in the waiting room/grandma's kitchen along with a glass tea cup collection.

Eventually, we were shown to a room with four turquoise vinyl booths. I slid in with trepidation, but that was immediately quelled. Our tax lady was awesome. She was fast, explained everything and helped us with every question we had. Very cool. Very crazy. I love it.
