WACSO ROCKS


Stasiu's - Minneapolis, MN

WACSO plays in a band called Tim Casey and the Martyrs. Great pop-rock tunes! Hooky. Stasiu's is a pretty cool joint, too. And this may sound odd, but check out the urinals if you go. They were salvaged from some old hotel in Downtown Minneapolis. The claim to fame is that Teddy Roosevelt pissed in them.

A far cry from the down and dirty pho places around town. And I do mean dirty. Although, I think those places have better pho. So I'll still go to those places. Not tossing out my Wet Wipes just yet.

HOSPITAL-ITY

Children's Hospital - Minneapolis, MN My son had his tonsils and adenoids removed today. It was strange watching him go under. Hard not to tear up a little. He was so trusting. So brave. I fear now he'll never want to go to the doctor again. Can't blame him. If I went to sleep and woke up with tubes coming out of me and my throat felt like it was just buffed with sandpaper, I'd be cautious, too.
