TRAINS KICK THE COLLECTIVE ASSES OF OTHER FORMS OF TRANSPORTATION


Off Hwy. 12 - Dassel, MN

Drove parallel to this freight train for a couple miles on the way
back from opening up the cabin today. Can I just say trains are the
best? We need to get some sweet bullet trains going across this
country. Screw planes. I think that would be a great goal for the next
president. Wouldn't it be cool to leave a nationwide passenger train
system as a presidential legacy? OK, cure cancer first, but then, you
know, trains. OK, get our soldiers out of a war with no end first,
then trains. OK, first get us off our oil addiction, then trains. OK,
first let's make sure we can handle nationwide emergencies, then
trains. OK, first education, then--FUCK I HATE WHAT BUSH AND HIS
CRONIES HAVE DONE TO THIS COUNTRY!!!

HOSPITAL-ITY

Children's Hospital - Minneapolis, MN My son had his tonsils and adenoids removed today. It was strange watching him go under. Hard not to tear up a little. He was so trusting. So brave. I fear now he'll never want to go to the doctor again. Can't blame him. If I went to sleep and woke up with tubes coming out of me and my throat felt like it was just buffed with sandpaper, I'd be cautious, too.
