LITERATI TAKE NOTE

If I were a literary magazine, I'd want to scream to the world "PICK
ME UP!" Unfortunately, the only thing this one says, from it's dark
corner of the free flyer rack at the coffee shop, is "Ignore the crap
out of me, please."

Don't get me wrong. I'm always glad to see people with a passion
getting out there and creating things like this little zine, but I
wonder if the literati will ever learn that while the words are hugely
important, often it's the presentation of those words that will be the
difference between success and failure.

To illustrate: Of anyone out there, I really should've noticed this
zine. Because I actually know someone who is published in it. I knew
the name of the zine. I knew it was out. And I walked by it every day
for the last four months without noticing it.

Sad.
