THAT'S WHAT I CALL A MALL PLAY AREA


Northpark Center - Dallas, TX

I used to play at this place when I was just a kid myself. We didn't
have any spongee brightly colored play areas in my day. You just ran
up the side of this tile planter and slid down the side on your
stomache. Plenty of chipped teeth and bloody noses, but nothing is fun
unless it's dangerous right?

Ngon Vietnamese Bistro - St. Paul, MN Went here a couple months ago. Nice casual place for a simple Asian meal. Good beer. Artwork on the wall. What else could you need? A far cry from the down and dirty pho places around town. And I do mean dirty. Although, I think those places have better pho. So I'll still go to those places. Not tossing out my Wet Wipes just yet.

HOSPITAL-ITY

Children's Hospital - Minneapolis, MN My son had his tonsils and adenoids removed today. It was strange watching him go under. Hard not to tear up a little. He was so trusting. So brave. I fear now he'll never want to go to the doctor again. Can't blame him. If I went to sleep and woke up with tubes coming out of me and my throat felt like it was just buffed with sandpaper, I'd be cautious, too.
